Cinelli’s intepration of Columbus’ If design award-winning Hynox tube® Trafiltubi XCr stainless steel tubes,
the only seamless stainless steel tube on the market, is the most ambitious steel frameset currently
available on the market. Unwilling to play off the niche traditionalist market of most other steel,
the XCr is aggressively styled and designed for the racing cyclist:
1450gm frame weight in medium size achieved in a material with incredible fatigue resistance
(and superior stiffness/weight ratios to high end aluminium and titanium alloys,
with tube wall thickness in the range of 0,4 mm).
Oversized sections, oriented ellipses in the down tube.
Oversized stainless steel BB30 exclusively made by Columbus for Cinelli.
Crystal mirror polish finish; stainless tubes immune to corrosive attacks of salted water
or organic acids, both on inside and outside.
Classic Cinelli seat clamp integrated in rear stays.
CNC machined drop outs for a larger welding area and aluminium ergo shifter plate.
Completely hand-made in Italy, available in 5 sizes as well as custom builds. |
